SEPTEMBER 2026 UPDATES
Hello lovely humanoids & beautiful creatures,
Spooky season is finally here & I’ve got some news to share! Personally, this is my favourite time of year… I like that it brings out this ‘creepy’ creative side of people. I also love discounted candies and thrifting for costumes. What about you?
I’ve got some important updates regarding the launch of my handmade rugs, schedule changes, content direction, and stream information. I'll start with the long-awaited rug launch. [summary at bottom]
RUG LAUNCH?!
As some of you know, I had an incident with black mold in my craft closet [read here]. I keep ALL of my art and craft-related things in there. I had already suspected I would need to push my intended launch date past the end of August. The mold solidified that and added some time. I’m locking in the rest of September to have them ready to drop at the end of the month. I don’t want to make any promises because I'm scared I'll fuck something up and postpone them even longer. But the goal is the end of September.
THE RUG PROCESS…
My best course of action is to treat the rugs once I have completed all of them. I was able to snag a carpet cleaner from the local buy-and-sell for only 50$. So I'm pretty thrilled about that. Then, once they are treated and safe, I’ll seal them up for safety & transport. That’s fine and all, but I also NEED to take pictures and videos of all the rugs together, as well as some self-portraits with them.
The pictures and videos are partially for me, but they’re also so I can make some promotional material with them. The goal is to create some proper hype around them before they drop. That is its own whole to-do. I’m thinking it will go like this:
Finish ALL the rugs to completion.
Photo + video shoot of said completed rugs.
Deep clean them.
Seal them for safekeeping and potential transportation.
Edit & post promotional content + announce launch date.
LAUNCH!
This looks and sounds like a lot, but I'm feeling optimistic. I’ve had an honest talk with myself and my schedule, and I think we made good choices. If it turns out we didn’t, I’ll be due for another serious talk with myself.
NEW BUT OLD SCHEDULE.
I am sticking to the classic Friday-Monday, instead of streaming extra days of the week. I’ll solely focus on rug making and documenting my process until launch. Monday’s art streams are still on; mostly whatever stage of the rug-making process I am in. This could be moved to a different day of the week, but I will stream 4 days a week instead of 5. This should improve the likelihood of getting things in order by the end of the month.
YOUTUBE MENTION: I’m planning to continue this schedule afterwards, and use the time to edit Twitch VODS and post them to YouTube. I monetized my YouTube channel after 3 years of grinding, and stopped editing/posting shortly after. I was streaming, editing, and working; I had no free time. It wore me down. Now I can invest time in YouTube again, and I should.
Once I get a good flow with Twitch & YouTube, as well as my art endeavours, I want to go on adventures and start a podcast. So I can explore creepy stuff and talk about weird things at length. I cannot do all of the things at once for some stupid reason, so I’m going to focus on Twitch -> YouTube + Art, instead of being an insane person…For now.
ADDITIONAL SCHEDULE NOTE: Whether I like it or not, I will still need to take a weekend off once a month to be a woman. BUT I am eating and sleeping well, and I am FINALLY exercising again. Exercise was the next important step in my healing process to become super ultra stronk again. So if all goes well, I will not need a weekend off a month to decompose and recompose. Fingers crossed.
MOVING FORWARD.
Once the rugs are launched and I have crossed that massive personal milestone, the stream activities we have unlocked as a community will continue. I didn’t forget; I’ve just been overwhelmed and under-resourced.
BEACH FIRE, CAMPING, CITY STREAMS AND MORE: This is my second biggest focus after the rugs. Not only did we unlock them, but it would be good for my soul…and maybe your souls too? Unfortunately, Canada has been on fire. If that improves before the cold season, I will sneak in a few beach fire and camping streams. Personally, camping isn’t enjoyable without a campfire. I will also sneak in a city stream between now and October; I’d prefer not to announce it beforehand. I always fuck it up when I do… It's not always in my control, but still…
THEN, during Canada’s cold season, we can start working on the other milestones we’ve reached together! Like the polymer clay charms, Shrinky Dinks, and The World's Hottest Chocolate Bar (fml) and so on.

This Friday, tomorrow, we’ll be catching up and sharing some laughsand songs while we play Golf With Your Friends & WebFishing! Then, on Saturday, I’ll be back to facing my maidenlessness in Elden Ring.

Handmade rug launch is delayed. I will only stream Fri-Mon, 4- 6 hours, aiming to launch by the end of September. Things have been postponed, but will pick back up as soon as the rugs are finished and the fires in Canada have stopped. Golf With Your Friends and Webfishing Friday!
